Aromas of fresh blackberries with medium hues of claret and crimson, this wine is one of the great value buys at Costco. This is 100% Tempranillo that is aged in oak barrels for 30 months and then cellared for another 6 months in the bottles. This wine is so well balanced, it's medium bodied, has medium tannins and medium acidity.
Being so well balanced it would pair well with probably any type of food you can throw at it and yet is a pleasure to drink on its own everyday.
I will definitely come back and stock up on more of this great vintage.
